A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. localStorage is a similar mechanism built into modern browsers that allows websites to store data locally — it lives entirely on your device and never reaches our servers unless we explicitly send it. ArcticFunFusion relies on localStorage as its primary storage method.

3. Categories of Storage We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary (cannot be disabled)

  • Age confirmation — once you confirm you are 18+, we save a flag in localStorage so you do not need to re-confirm on every visit.
  • Cookie consent — your choice on the cookie banner is stored so we do not nag you on every page load.
  • Session integrity — minimal session data needed for the site to function.

3.2 Functional (game state)

  • Virtual coin balance — your current balance for each game (Plinko Drop, Hi-Lo Cards, Mines Gold, Crash X) is stored in your browser only. We never transmit this data to our servers.
  • Wins / losses / streak / best record — saved locally per game.
  • Display preferences — any user-interface choices you make.

3.3 Analytics (optional)

If you accept the cookie banner, we may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views, measure load times and understand which games are most popular. We use IP-anonymisation where supported. We do not use behavioural advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.

3.4 Advertising

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media trackers or cross-site fingerprinting on this website.

Items are prefixed arct_ in your browser's localStorage:

  • arct_age_ok — value 1 if you confirmed 18+.
  • arct_cookie_choice — your cookie banner response (accept or decline).
  • arct_game_plinko, arct_game_hilo, arct_game_mines, arct_game_crash — JSON object with your per-game state.

5. Your Choices

You can at any time:

  • Clear your browser's storage to wipe everything — your virtual coin balance will reset, and you will be asked again for age confirmation.
  • Browse in private/incognito mode to prevent persistent storage.
  • Decline non-essential cookies via the banner that appears on first visit.
  • Configure your browser to block all cookies — note that the site may not work correctly.

6. Third Parties

We load Google Fonts and the Lucide icon library from public CDNs to render the page. These third parties may receive your IP address as part of standard HTTP requests but do not set cookies on our behalf. We do not embed social-media widgets, advertising scripts or external trackers.
